The mission of Star Painting and Wallcovering is to provide "skilled craftsmen" in painting and wallcovering.  Star Painting values bringing the joy of a beautiful and comfortable space to home and office.  We commit to delivering what we promise, paying meticulous attention to detail and respecting our customer's time and place.

Our Services

We provide a large portfolio of capabilities to suit various painting, wallcovering, power washing, carpentry and decorating needs:

Painting

Standard: Interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and woodwork.

Faux Finishes: Murals, trompe l'oeil, marbleizing, ragging, sponging, graphics, wood graining, and other multi-color finishes such as polomyx and zolatone.

Wallcovering

Paper of all sizes and material can be removed and installed. We work with paper of various repeats, trimmed or untrimmed, murals, grasscloths, linen, string, silk, satin or other fabric, commercial or residential.

Power Washing

Removal of mildew, chalking, air pollutants, and road dirt.

Carpentry

Installation of decks, chair rails, wainscoting, shadowboxing, crown molding, millwork, bookshelves, built-in units, kitchen cabinetry, structural additions, basement remodeling and replacement doors and windows.

Decorating

Design consultation on paint color schemes, wallpaper choices, and faux finish selections. Our design associates can also offer advice on soft goods (duvets, pillows, skirts, slipcovers, draperies, etc.), and furniture selection, reupholstering, and refinishing.

The finest labor and materials available are used at all of our client sites. Work is completed to PDCA standards and all surfaces are properly prepared. Interior walls and ceilings are first patched and spackled to remove cracks, nail pops, and any other imperfections. Woodwork is sanded and dusted. If old wallpaper is to be removed, walls are washed clean of old paper paste and are sized prior to hanging of the new wallcovering. Exterior surfaces are scraped and sanded to remove loose and peeling paint.
